The Fraser Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation (FVRCF) is continuing to build momentum with its bursary program in 2026, providing $53,000 in funding to support local high school graduates as they take the next step toward post-secondary education. This year, $1,000 bursaries will once again be awarded to one student from each of the 53 public secondary schools and learning centres across Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, Mission, and North Delta.
Now in its third year, the FVRCF bursary program has become a meaningful source of support for students facing financial and personal barriers on their path to higher education. By helping to ease the financial burden, the program empowers young people to pursue their goals with greater confidence and stability.
“Opportunity doesn’t always present itself equally,” said David Herman, Chair of the Fraser Valley REALTORS® Charitable Foundation. “There are students in our communities who are not able to afford post-secondary or trade school. Through the Foundation, we can help open doors and support young people in pursuing further education. Thanks to the generosity of our REALTOR® donors, we are committed to removing barriers and equipping students with the tools and resources they need to reach their full potential.”
Through the generosity of local REALTORS® and members of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, the Foundation continues to invest in education as a pathway to stronger, more inclusive communities.
The FVRCF extends its sincere thanks to the REALTORS® whose ongoing support makes this program — and its lasting impact — possible.
