FVREB Town Hall Series Continues with Engaged Dialogue and a Focus on Member Well-Being

The Fraser Valley Real Estate Board held the third session of the 2025–2026 Town Hall series on Monday, November 17, welcoming members in Langley and online for an engaging morning of updates and open discussion with Board leadership.

Mental health was a central topic, as the Board outlined its commitment to developing mental health supports for all 5,100+ FVREB members. Recognizing that many members operate as self-employed professionals without benefits, the Board emphasized the need for accessible resources to support members navigating challenging personal or professional situations.

Board Chair Tore Jacobsen spoke candidly about his own experiences, reinforcing the importance of open dialogue on mental health and the Board’s responsibility to support members’ well-being.

Members were also updated on CLARA, the FVREB Cognitive Learning Artificial REALTOR® Assistant, set to launch this week. CLARA is a national first at the Board level, able to help members quickly access information from FVREB Connect, including responses in multiple languages such as Punjabi. CLARA 1.0 is only the beginning, with ongoing updates to follow.

As in previous sessions, Board Officers dedicated much of the Town Hall to member questions, addressing topics such as bringing back Education Week in 2026, PacificWest recap, and finding ways to support REALTOR® reputation and professionalism

The final Town Hall in the series will be held on January 29, 2026, in Abbotsford.
