Festival Lights, Big City Nights: Inside PacificWest’s Epic Welcome Party

If you missed this year’s PacificWest Conference Welcome Party, you missed one of the most talked-about moments of the Conference. With more than 750 people in attendance, the night was alive with energy, laughter, and connection.

Inspired by the world’s most iconic festivals—Woodstock, Coachella, and Tomorrowland—the party transformed the venue into a vibrant celebration of connection and creativity. Sponsored by REW, the atmosphere was electric from start to finish, featuring three DJs, stilt walkers, dancers, aerialists, and even a contortionist keeping the crowd fully entertained.

Bursting with colour, music and unforgettable energy, festival-inspired experiences were everywhere: a graffiti wall, airbrush tattoos, a hat bar, and classic games like cornhole and shuffleboard brought a playful energy.

Photo booths, including a vintage VW bus, helped to capture the fun. Guests sipped craft cocktails and mocktails, sampled gourmet bites from the complimentary food market, and soaked in the excitement of reconnecting with friends and colleagues.

The Monday night Pre-Conference Social set the tone for the entire PacificWest Conference. The night featured a spontaneous dose of national pride as the crowd erupted in cheers watching the Toronto Blue Jays clinch Game seven of the ALCS, as well as a fun speed networking session, giving attendees a head-start on building relationships before the conference officially began.

If you missed out on either event this year, make sure to mark your calendar for next time —PacificWest 2026 is September 28 & 29!
