When you create a new listing, CREA Webforms is your tool of choice.
There are three ways to use Webforms to upload a listing. We recommend creating a new transaction kit from an updated template. This is also CREA’s recommended approach.

What does this mean?
This ‘clean slate’ will ensure there are no outdated forms or data, or potential trouble with CREA’s uploading errors.

You can open the old Data Input Form (DIF) in a second window, and copy/paste data over to the new form. This will save you time.

Two other approaches used by Members to upload a new listing are not recommended, including:
- Using an existing transaction kit,
- Duplicating an existing transaction kit.
Using an existing transaction kit won’t let you override an existing listing which means the ‘upload listing’ button will be absent.
Duplicating an existing transaction kit includes other risks such as outdated data input forms, lingering old data and accidental duplication of listings. Although a duplicated listing doesn’t happen often, the consequences could be detrimental as it could include information from a previous listing that doesn’t relate to your new listing.
