Join Surrey RCMP Constable Sukh Chattha-Johal who will talk to members about personal safety in terms of awareness, prevention, intervention, and response.
The free, one-hour session will be held on Thursday, July 4 from 10 am to 11 am in the FVREB Theatre.
Note: Registration is required to ensure there is enough space to accommodate all attendees.
The Constable will cover the following topics:

- A review of safety procedures:
- understanding your neighborhood

- property assessment – crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED)

- review of social media platforms and any issues there
- review of safety apps and other online tools
- When and how to report incidents to authorities
- Documentation and reporting of incidents
