Member Education Requirements

REALTORS® are reminded to ensure they are compliant every two years with the educational requirements to maintain both their Board membership and to renew their license through the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA).

To renew your license, members are required to fulfill BCFSA’s mandatory continuing education requirements which include the Legal Update and Ethics courses. These courses do not qualify for PDP hours but are mandatory for license renewal. Contact BCFSA to find out more about your course completions. The Board is unable to access this information.

To maintain your Board membership, members must complete 18 PDP hours including a minimum of 12 ‘accredited’ hours. The final six hours can be completed through ‘accredited’ or ‘self-directed’ courses or any combination thereof.
