Managing a professional Instagram feed can be a daunting task, especially if you’re not sure where to begin.

Like any other aspect of your marketing and branding, you need an objective – and a plan to achieve that objective.

Know why you’re using Instagram

  • You can create a network of peers in the real estate industry
  • Keeps you up to date on latest trend and ideas in the industry
  • Announce your accomplishments
  • Present yourself as a respectful, thought leader
  • Share knowledge that enhances the profession
  • Keep your clients up to date on the market

Establish your presence

  • Like: give positive feedback
  • Follow: when someone follows you, follow them in return – this makes connections
  • Comment: write a response to someone’s post, start a productive conversation
  • Post: share an image of your recent accomplishment
  • Hashtag: indexes your posts making them searchable by individual #Hashtags

Keep it professional

  • Be respectful: Always
  • Make good choices with your images
  • Be focused and productive with your comments
  • Think twice: Post once
  • Remember: You represent all REALTORS®
